GSM-VideoAlarm - image transmission in the GSM network
|
WHAT IS GSM-VIDEOALARM
In the area of safeguarding and control engineering various sophisticated sensors are used to ensure surveillance over monitored spaces or technology equipment.
However, in many cases the best and most comprehensive information can be gain through a simple view of the spaces monitored.
By means of the GSM network GSM-VideoAlarm transfers the image scanned by a camera to the screen of computer monitor or mobile phone. Further it sends an SMS notice on the mobile phone that an image or information about conditions of digital inputs were dispatched.
WHAT GSM-VIDEOALARM CAN DO
- To scan and dispatch an image after an SMS command
- To scan and dispatch an image according to a plan in a fixed moment
- To scan and dispatch an image after a command from a sensor or from an electronic alarm system
- To scan and dispatch a series of consecutive images
- To raise alarm and send an SMS notice after a command from a sensor or an electronic alarm system
VARIANTS OF INPUT/OUTPUT CITCUITS
GSM-VideoAlarm system is equipped with:
- one or four video inputs 75Ohm; maximal image resolution is 352x264 or 704x528 pixel
- four digital inputs (connection of safety appliance, sensors of temperature, level, movement, etc.)
- three digital outputs (control of heating, pumps, barriers, etc.)
TRANSMISSION MODE
GSM-VideoAlarm uses GPRS transmission in GSM net and mails in Internet. This guarantees very low operation costs that are necessary for the transmission of image.
Image is saved in JPEG format with resolution 352x264 pixels. Image is passed to PC through Internet as mail in HTML format or text mail with attachment.
Easy configuration
GSM-VideoAlarm can be configured by means of SMS from a mobile phone or, more comfortably, from a PC via the serial line RS232.
MECHANICAL DESIGN
GSM-VideoAlarm is mounted in a steel sheet box designed for indoor installation. The box can be fixed on the wall by means of a holder belonging to the scope of delivery.
Power supply
GSM-VideoAlarm is fed with d.c. voltage 15V from a network adapter. After customer wishes GSM-VideoAlarm can be fed with voltage 8 - 24V and power supply can be backed up by means of an accumulator battery.
