 When telecommunication devices are applied, co-operation between various devices must often be solved in an efficient way. Most cases can be solved by the use of en masse produced equipment. However, there are cases when the use of such equipment does not comply with the user's requirements.
For these purposes the MIKROTEL Company has developed a set of modules marked PRI-xxx. PRI-xxx is a set of HW and SW modules. HW modules equipped with modern programmable logical fields with efficient multi-processor control are supported with SW of modern concept enabling flexible reactions to customers' requirements and various options of individual types of signaling. A wide scale of various customized devices can be composed of the above mentioned modules. The selected concept of the equipment is designed to enable quick and economical solutions of the problem enabling thus the fulfillment of various special requirements of administrators and users of telecommunication services. Examples of use Use in the function of a converter PRI-xxx has two E1 interfaces. One of them is used for the connection to the telecommunication network and a PBX is connected to the other one. PRI-xxx can e.g. do the routing of the outgoing traffic in accordance with pre-set conditions, insert charging information, convert signaling, receive and transmit various signals in the line, etc. The equipment can be connected to telecommunication networks by means of cable or radio connections.  Using the equipment for interconnecting networks PRI-xxx has two E1 interfaces. Each E1 interface is connected to various telecommunication networks. PRI-xxx can insert charging information into the signaling, route the traffic in accordance with pre-set conditions, convert signals used in individual networks, receive or transmit various signals in the line, etc. The equipment can be connected to telecommunication networks by means of cable or radio connections.  Configuration PRI-xxx is controlled and configured with a simple control program, which makes installation and maintenance of the equipment very easy. The control program can set up a wide range of parameters of the equipment. Configuration of PRI-xxx can be performed on site via RS232 or remotely by means of the E1 track from a supervision center. Monitor of protocols A part of the delivered SW is an integrated monitor of protocols that makes commissioning of PRI-xxx easier or it helps to solve operational problems.
